Description
The pattern is written cuff down with
a traditional heel flap and gusset but
would be perfect for adapting to toe
up if that is your preferred method of
sock making. You can also substitute
out whatever heel or toe you like.
Mix and match colors, combine
solids with speckles, use scraps for
the rows, it doesn’t matter, make it
your own.
Yarn: 100gms of fingering weight yarn
in main color and 40gm (or 2
different 20gm mini skeins) of
fingering weight yarn in contrasting
color.
Needles: US 1 (2.25mm) or size
needed to obtain gauge. I use magic
loop or the 2 circular needle method
for my socks but feel free to
substitute 9 inch circular or dpns, if
you like.
Notions: Tapestry needle and stitch
markers.
Gauge: 8sts and 16rows per 1 inch
(2.5cm) in pattern.
Measurements: 8 inches (20.3cm)
around. Cuff length: 1.75 inches
(4.4cm). Leg length: 4.5 inches
(11.4cm). Heel depth: 2 inches (5cm).
Foot length: To be determined by you.
