I used Knit Picks Swish Dk in Carnation, Rouge and Sweet Pea

Scrappy Crochet Cowl: Many different sock yarns held double. The original intention was to make a granny stripe blanket based off the Granny Stripes by Lucy of Attic24 but didn’t get far, so decided to make it a cowl instead.

WIPs: That 70’s sweater design. I’m making progress. I have finished the math for all the sizes and have knit to the part where the front and back join together. Should be smooth sailing from now on. Yarn is Yarn and Ewe Alternative Sock, color Nuclear and Hubba bubba.

Christmas eve cast on, yarn from Thoroughly Thwacked color “wicked”. Pattern is called January Thermal socks a free download from knit picks.

Knit-a-long news!

Today kicks off the GALKAL (Gift-a-long Knit-a-long) #galkal This is to help us get into the spirit of knitting or crocheting for the people we love for the holidays. KAL runs from Sept 1 through Dec 24th and can be anything knitted or crocheted as long as it is for someone else for the upcoming holidays. WIPS are allowed. There will be a chatter thread in the ravelry group and a finished objects thread. Go over and check it out.
