Light rain by Joji Locatelli, yarn is Yarn and Ewe Jazzy Tweed in fog color. I LOVE it! Such a great pattern and has a great fit. I highly recommend this pattern. I love all her patterns.

Copycat BFF socks in Weechickadee Woolery Color Pinecone ridge. I used Chiaogoo US size 1 40 inch needle and did these two at a time

WIPS:

May Socks for the Sockbash17. Vanilla socks with fish lips kiss heel, yarn is Yarn and Ewe self striping in the Spring Break color on Jazzy Tweed base. Cuffs and heels and toes are in Big Alice Dyes Dark and Stormy color. Unfortunately she doesn’t appear to be dyeing yarn any more.

KAL news!

Westkal 17 is wrapping up just a few more days to enter. Make sure to go to the ravelry group page and post your finished Stephen West projects by April 30th. I will close the thread May 1st and pick the winners at the next podcast.

Finished Objects:

Starburst Shawl by Stephen West. Done in dk weight and I used 4 colors. Knitted Wit Victory Dk in Blush, Republic of Wool dk in Crackle and Sourpuss and Sweetgeorgia dk in Wisteria. Used a US size 6 needle

Rainbow Bright socks, done with Yarn and Ewe Rainbow bright selfstriping yarn on the Jazzy Tweed Base. I used a US Size 1 40 inch cable and knit them 2 at a time from toe up. I used Judy’s Magic Cast on and did socks with 64 sts. Fish lips kiss heels and classic bind off just done very loosely. I think my gauge is a bit loose so my next vanilla socks will be on a size 0 to see if that makes a difference.

Sylphrena Socks

New design sock I’m working on. Pattern to be available soon. Will include cuff down and toe up version. I knit these using Sweetgeorgia TLS in Jade and heels cuffs and toes in Mrs. Babs (color unknown) Use a US size 1 needle. This pair was done cuff down.

WIPS:

Light rain pullover by Joji Locatelli. I’m knitting the second smallest size and I used a US size 5 needle. Still not at gauge with that needle but it works out ok. Yarn is Yarn and Ewe Jazzy Tweed in Fog. I’m almost done. I have a little of the second sleeve left and then the cowl neck. Very excited about this sweater. I realized I’ve been knitting the lace section incorrectly but still like the look of it and honestly at this point I’m just going to finish the way I started.

C is for Cat plush toy by Yarn miracle

I’m making this for my niece. Originally it was going to be a birthday present but will finish and save for Christmas. Hard on my hands. The head and body are finished

Copycat BFF socks. Original pattern is from Cookie A. Yarn is Wee Chickadee Woolery in Pinecone Ridge Color. US Size 1 (2.25mm)

Light Rain by Joji Locatelli. Yarn is my own handdyed tweed in Fog, fingering weight. My gauge is off, but should still give me the oversize look. Pattern from her Interpretations Vol 3 Collection I bought the whole collection and I know I will make many of the projects in this collection.
